What Makes You Happy?
Nate Mosher
“Football makes me happy, and being apart of the team is a big part of what I do. Most of my day is spent with my football members, well we call them our family members, because that’s our mantra –– family. And I really do feel like it’s a family, so yeah that’s why that makes me happy. And I love hitting people.”

“There’s a lot of things but my friends and family make me happy and doing things I love. Dance always makes me happy and I’ve been doing that for a long time, and things like theater and my family. I love that my friends can always make me laugh and we always have good conversations. There’s like two sides, there’s fun and goofing off, and we’re also able to have serious conversations and talk about things we care about.”

“I’m really happy when I’m playing tennis having nice consistent rallies, and hanging out with the team is pretty fun. Sometimes we’ll get together and go get some Buffalo Wild Wings or something and go get some food. Other than that, practice is pretty fun, we mostly just rally but sometimes we play some games. I’m also mostly happy when I’m with my family, I just went to my nieces birthday party which was really cool.”

“Going on vacation with my family, spending time together and unplugging makes me happy. Disconnecting from everything and enjoying being in the moment. I am thinking about a vacation to Hawaii with my family, but also just anytime we can get away from Ann Arbor. When I’m away I feel super stress-free. There’s nothing expected from me, and I can do what you want, which I like. Spending time with friends is also stress-free and looking forwards to weekends. Pretty much anything not related to school.”

“My friends and family make me happy. They’re always really supportive if I’m feeling sad or unhappy. They can really bring up my mood and know how to make me laugh. They’re always encouraging and think of things that will make me laugh. Laughing makes me happier and honestly, a hug helps a lot. My happiness sophomore year has been pretty good. The workload has been a lot more and that’s definitely made it a little harder to be happy but it’s good so far. I feel more settled in and in a routine.”
